Brooklyn: 1994. Miss Education follows the story of Roxanne Waters. Art teacher by day, activist by night. Torn between the commitments to her personal life and her public demonstrations, everything she stands for is put to the test when a blind date takes a very unexpected turn.

(Playwright): Mykai is dedicated to creating art that includes stories demanding to be told. He has a BA in Theatre Studies from The University of Tampa. Through a wide variety of theatrical training, he uses his skills as: an actor to be able to direct on a personal level, a technician to communicate and execute necessary designs, and a playwright to faithfully enact the given circumstances of a script.

(Director): Michaela Thomas is a recent 2020 graduate of the University of Tampa where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Journalism. This is Michaela’s 4th directorial project and she couldn’t be more excited to work on this project. She is extremely proud to be art of a workshop opportunity like this and hopes that everyone enjoys.
